Rod Squad’s ‘Goin Country’ alternative

Saturday December 4 saw the club visit “Wendy’s Saddlery” at Sheldon. Our hosts Mike and Wendy own a beautiful property on a sprawling 65 acres. Wendy is an expert saddler and she gave an interesting talk on how she makes the saddles. We enjoyed a tour of their private museum as well. Lunch was delicious salads and sausages accompanied by sweets prepared by the ladies. Friends, fellowship, cars and food, what a great day! Thanks to Rob for organising the day and for all who made it happen.
